Job Description:
We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Developer to build secure, resilient, and scalable digital services and UI experiences for the Private Bank Credit business. You’ll work across modern Java back-end services and React front-end applications, to build out a brand-new application in a fast paced, enterprise environment, while mentoring a junior development team.
To be successful as a Full Stack Developer, you should have:
- Proven full stack experience delivering production systems with Java (preferably 17/21), React (preferably 16+) or Angular, and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST, secure software engineering, and relational databases (SQL).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, automated testing across layers, and containerisation/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience with domain‑driven design, event sourcing, and distributed systems patterns.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and enterprise integration platforms.
- Familiarity with SonarQube/quality gates, feature flags, and progressive delivery, as well as message queues/streaming (e.g., Kafka).
- Experience with financial services applications.
- You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, communication skills and interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders, as well as job-specific technical skills.
