Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead with strong expertise in Messaging and Value Added Service (VAS) platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the operations, monitoring, incident management, customer support, and service assurance of critical telecom platforms including SMSC, USSD, SMS Firewall, IP-SM-GW, IVR, and VAS applications. The role requires deep telecom domain knowledge, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a thorough understanding of telecom network call flows to effectively diagnose and resolve complex service issues. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of Messaging and VAS platforms including SMSC, USSD, SMS Firewall, IP SM-GW, IVR, and related services. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all production systems. Monitor service KPIs, traffic patterns, transaction success rates, and platform health. Troubleshoot service-impacting issues related to messaging, voice services, and subscriber interactions. Coordinate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Network teams to resolve operational issues. Lead customer incident management, escalations, and communication during service outages. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support platform deployments, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities. Perform capacity planning and ensure infrastructure readiness for traffic growth. Prepare operational reports, service dashboards, and management updates. Ensure SLA compliance and adherence to operational processes. Mentor and guide support engineers and operations team members. Lead and manage the reporting team by allocating work, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful execution of project deliverables.
