Position Title: Art Teacher
Location: Hanumant High School (CBSE), Mahuva, Bhavnagar, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging art lessons across assigned grades.
- Introduce students to various mediums — drawing, painting, craft, sculpture, mixed media, etc.
- Encourage creative exploration while teaching foundational techniques.
- Align lesson plans with CBSE art education objectives.
- Develop students’ fine motor skills, visual perception, and creative expression.
- Prepare students for inter-school competitions and exhibitions.
- Identify and nurture artistic talent.
- Prepare annual and term-wise planners.
- Maintain student portfolios and artwork records.
- Integrate art with other subjects where possible (cross-curricular approach).
- Organize art exhibitions, displays, and annual event décor.
- Contribute to school functions, competitions, and creative projects.
- Decorate bulletin boards and learning spaces creatively.
- Assess student progress through practical evaluation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain attendance and academic records.
Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in a CBSE or reputed school.
- Proficiency in multiple art techniques and mediums.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
