The GIS Executive will be responsible for processing UAV survey data, generating high-accuracy geospatial outputs, and supporting engineering, infrastructure, and analytics teams with actionable spatial intelligence. The role requires strong expertise in photogrammetry workflows using Pix4D or Agisoft Metashape.
Key Responsibilities
1.) UAV Data Processing
Process drone imagery using Pix4Dmapper and/or Agisoft Metashape
Generate:
Orthomosaics (GeoTIFF)
DSM / DTM
3D point clouds (LAS/LAZ)
3D textured mesh models
Contours & elevation models
Perform GCP marking and accuracy validation (RMSE analysis)
2.) GIS & Spatial Analysis
Work with QGIS / ArcGIS for:
Spatial analysis
Vector editing & digitization
Thematic map creation
Layer stacking & projections
Conduct volume calculations (stockpile, mining, earthwork)
Perform change detection analysis
3.) Data Quality & Reporting
Ensure coordinate system accuracy (WGS84, UTM, Local grids)
Generate technical survey reports
Validate image overlap, tie points, and reconstruction quality
Maintain metadata documentation
4.) Client & Project Support
Coordinate with drone pilots and survey teams
Assist in proposal technical documentation
Deliver processed outputs as per project timelines
Technical Skills Required
Must-Have:
1–4 years experience in UAV data processing
Strong command over:
Pix4Dmapper/ HelloGeo or Agisoft Metashape
Understnding of:
Photogrammetry principles
GCP workflows
CRS & projections
Experience with QGIS / ArcGIS
Good to Have:
LiDAR data processing (LAStools / CloudCompare)
AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge
WebGIS publishing (GeoServer)
Experience in infrastructure / solar / mining projects
