- A Service Captain for an Italian restaurant operating within an Asian culinary context must deliver premium, tailored service by blending, for example, Italian hospitality (welcoming) with Asian-style efficiency. Key duties include guiding guests through fusion menus, managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, and handling guest feedback to ensure satisfaction. Menu & Fusion Expertise: In-depth knowledge of both Italian (pasta, pizza) and Asian dishes to explain, suggest, and upsell items.
- Customer Engagement: Greeting guests, managing reservations, and delivering attentive, personalized service.
- Operational Control: Supervising server staff to ensure timely delivery of food, proper table setups, and cleanliness.
- Order Management: Accurately taking orders and using POS systems efficiently.
- Problem Resolution: Handling customer inquiries and complaints immediately.
Required Skills:
- Experience: 2–4 years in upscale dining, with knowledge of Italian and Asian cuisine.
