1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Oversee and execute civil works on-site, including piling, foundation construction, and other critical civil activities as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets, and execution plans for civil engineering works.
- Ensure that all civil works are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
2. Site Management:
- Supervise and manage construction activities on-site to ensure work is progressing according to plan.
- Perform regular site inspections and report on progress, deviations, or issues. Ensure prompt resolution of site challenges.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of resources for the completion of civil works.
3. Piling & Foundation Works:
- Oversee the execution of piling and foundation works, ensuring that the method and materials used align with the engineering designs.
- Monitor and inspect ongoing foundation works to maintain quality and safety standards.
4. Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) Preparation:
- Prepare Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) as per project drawings and specifications to ensure proper reinforcement of structures.
- Ensure accurate measurements and quantities for all reinforcement and material requirements.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, and as-built drawings.
- Handle project documentation like RFI (Request for Information) verification, client billing, and change orders.
- Prepare periodic progress reports for clients, ensuring all documentation is timely and accurate.
- Ensure that all documents are stored and managed according to company protocols for project tracking and compliance.
6. Client Billing & RFI Verification:
- Prepare and verify client billing documents, ensuring proper substantiation of quantities and work completed on-site.
- Handle RFI verification and ensure that any clarifications or additional information requested by clients or design teams is promptly addressed.
7. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Promote safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE standards on-site.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions to minimize risks.
8. Project Closure:
- Assist in the timely completion of all civil works, ensuring the project is closed with proper documentation and handover to the client.
