Job Summary
The Commis is responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of food items while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. The role ensures timely food preparation and supports smooth kitchen operations to deliver an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items as per standard recipes and portion specifications.
- Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, peeling, marinating, and storing food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene (FSSAI) standards and company SOPs.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation before service.
- Support inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Minimize food wastage by following proper storage and handling procedures.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies.
- Follow all health, safety, and fire safety guidelines.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Chef or Duty Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, QSR, restaurant, hotel, or cinema F&B operations.
- Freshers with relevant culinary training may also apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
