About the Role
We are hiring a driven and analytical Junior Python Developer to join our backend engineering team in Kozhikode. This is a full-time, onsite role tailored for freshers, coding bootcamp graduates, and entry-level developers (0 to 1 year of experience) who have a strong foundation in Python and want to build high-performance web applications and backend systems. If you enjoy solving algorithmic puzzles, writing clean code, and working with databases, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code to develop backend services and applications.
- API Design: Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs using modern frameworks (like FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
- Database Integration: Write optimized queries and work with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Debugging & Testing: Identify, debug, and fix software bugs, and write unit tests to ensure code reliability.
- Collaboration: Work alongside frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Qualifications
- Experience: 0–1 year of software development experience (Freshers with strong personal coding projects are highly encouraged to apply).
- Education: B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Core Python Skills: Solid understanding of core Python concepts, object-oriented programming (OOPs), data structures, and algorithms.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control and basic command-line operations in Linux.
- Mindset: Strong logical thinking, a passion for learning new tech stacks, and a collaborative spirit.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)
- A public GitHub profile showcasing personal Python projects, automation scripts, or web scrapers.
- Foundational understanding of relational databases and SQL query writing.
- Basic exposure to containerization tools like Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
