Job Summary
The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing project bills, client invoices, subcontractor bills, and quantity measurements for construction and interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely billing, accurate quantity estimation, cost control, and compliance with contractual terms to support smooth project execution and cash flow.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Billing
- Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills as per project milestones.
- Verify executed work quantities based on approved drawings and site measurements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams for bill certification.
- Track bill approvals and follow up on outstanding payments.
Quantity Surveying
- Take off quantities from architectural, structural, and interior drawings.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and compare actual executed quantities with BOQ.
- Monitor quantity variations and prepare variation statements.
Subcontractor Billing
- Verify subcontractor measurements and bills.
- Prepare payment recommendations based on work completion.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms before processing payments.
Cost Control
- Monitor project costs against budget.
- Assist in preparing cost reports and project MIS.
- Identify quantity and cost deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain measurement books (MB), billing records, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, accounts, and site execution teams.
- Ensure all billing documentation complies with contractual requirements.
Contract Administration
- Review work orders, contracts, and payment terms.
- Prepare claims for additional work, extra items, and change orders.
- Support final account settlement and project closure.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
