About the Company
We are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing climate-tech company developing next-generation industrial energy solutions. As the company scales from R&D to commercial deployment, we are looking for a Sourcing Specialist to build and manage the supplier ecosystem for critical mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and other engineered equipment.
- Manage RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, supplier negotiations, and purchase orders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Coordinate vendor qualification, quality inspections, and supplier audits.
- Track deliveries, expedite critical materials, and ensure on-time procurement.
- Support cost optimization, should-cost analysis, and new vendor development.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- 4–7 years of sourcing/procurement experience in heavy engineering or process industries.
- Experience sourcing pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, valves, fabricated equipment, or similar process equipment.
- Background in EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Heavy Engineering, Process Equipment Manufacturing, or Process Plants.
- Strong negotiation, vendor development, and supplier management skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore.
