1. Supervise Housekeeping Staff
- Assign daily cleaning duties to housekeeping attendants.
- Monitor staff performance and productivity.
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures and safety standards.
- Prepare work schedules and duty rosters.
2. Maintain Cleanliness Standards
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness.
- Ensure rooms are cleaned according to company standards.
- Verify that all housekeeping tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
3. Inventory Management
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, towels, and cleaning chemicals.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning materials.
4. Coordinate with Other Departments
- Communicate with the front office regarding room status.
- Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Work with laundry to ensure timely linen availability.
5. Ensure Health and Safety Compliance
- Enforce workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations.
6. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain housekeeping records and inspection reports.
- Track room status and staff attendance.
- Report maintenance issues and lost-and-found items.
