1) Supervise the day-to-day operations of the store department.
2) Ensure proper receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, machine spare parts, consumables, and finished goods.
3) Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
4) Monitor inward and outward material movements and ensure accurate documentation.
5) Verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue slips, and other store-related records.
6) Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile any discrepancies with system records.
7) Coordinate with the purchase, production, and accounts departments regarding material requirements and availability.
8) Ensure proper identification, labeling, and storage of materials as per company standards.
9) Monitor the performance and discipline of store staff and allocate work responsibilities effectively.
10) Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock reports to management.
11) Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory requirements within the store area.
12) Investigate and report any material losses, damages, or inventory variances.
13) Support internal and external audits by providing the required records and documents.
14) Implement inventory control practices to improve efficiency and minimize wastage.
15) Train and guide store personnel on proper material handling and documentation procedures.
16) Perform any other duties assigned by the management related to store operations.
SKILLS REQUIRED
