We’re looking for a strong Senior Platform Engineer with 8 to 10 years relevant experience. Mandatory Skills AWS, Platform Engineer, Platform Development, Cloud Platform Engineer ,Application Server ,CICD,IAC Job Description: · 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering roles with strong ownership of production environments. · Deep hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services in a multi-environment or multi-account setup. · Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code, including reusable modules, environment promotion, and change control. · Strong experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab. · Experience writing automation and tooling in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages. · Solid background in cloud networking, IAM, secrets management, certificates, and secure service-to-service communication. · Experience operating production observability stacks and using telemetry to improve reliability, incident response, and service health. · Experience supporting or building shared platform capabilities used by multiple engineering teams. · Strong judgment in troubleshooting distributed systems, deployment failures, configuration drift, and infrastructure bottlenecks. Role · Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure that supports SEPS platform services and partner integrations. · Partner closely with engineering leads and staff level team members to increase team throughput, unblock delivery, and turn one-off infrastructure work into repeatable platform capabilities. · Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules, environment templates, and infrastructure standards that speed delivery across sandbox, pre-production, and production environments. · Own and improve CI/CD workflows in GitLab for infrastructure and platform services, with strong controls around change management, rollback, and release quality. · Support and evolve core platform components such as Kong API Gateway, Confluent Kafka, observability tooling, secrets handling, certificate management, and cloud networking. · Improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, incident response, and operational runbooks so the team can detect issues earlier and recover faster. · Raise the security and compliance posture of the platform through least-privilege IAM, encryption, logging, patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure guardrails. · Work directly with application and product teams to create paved-road patterns for service onboarding, deployment, connectivity, and production support. · Reduce operational toil through automation, self-service tooling, and standardized workflows for provisioning, maintenance, and remediation. · Evaluate practical ways to use AWS-native AI tooling, including Cursor, and Bedrock-based internal workflows, to accelerate IaC authoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and platform operations where it improves speed and quality. · Produce clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operating procedures, and implementation standards that can be used across the SEPS organization. · Mentor engineers through design reviews, automation patterns, operational discipline, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
