Tekla Checker and project coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings for accurate steel detailing.
Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams to discuss project specifications and progress.
Ensure compliance with Australian Steel industry standards and company practices throughout the detailing process.
Checking of models in Tekla structures.
Checking of Marking plan, Assembly, Part drawings & Material reports for all types of structures.
Interface check, Bolt access, Weld access. Galvanising holes & Erection feasibility
Raising of technical queries i.e. RFIs
Review and updating of detailed structures for meeting the applicable standards.
Checking of alignment of sub-trades details i.e. flooring, decking, cladding etc into relevant models.
Model Clash Check.
Reviewing Client comments and checking updated dwgs for completeness
Approval and fabrication packs check.
Requirements:
Proven experience in steel detailing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Extensive experience and proficiency in using Tekla Structures or equivalent steel detailing software.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Remote work is available for this position.
Schedule:
- Day shift – Start Time: 5 AM IST – Indian Standard Time (flexible, required some days)
Experience:
- Checker experience: 2 years (Required)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
