- Develop original furniture concepts based on client briefs, interior themes and functional requirements.
- Design customised beds, sofas, dining tables, chairs, consoles, wardrobes, cabinets and other furniture.
- Prepare mood boards, concept sketches, presentations and material palettes.
- Create accurate 2D / 3D drawings, detailed shop drawings and 3D visualisations.
- Prepare production drawings with dimensions, sections, joinery details and material specifications.
- Select appropriate solid wood, veneers, laminates, upholstery, leather, metal, glass and hardware.
- Coordinate with architects and interior designers for design approvals and site requirements.
- Work closely with carpenters, engineers and production supervisors to ensure design feasibility.
- Review prototypes and samples and recommend necessary modifications.
