An HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) engineer is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and improving systems that control indoor temperature, air quality, and ventilation in buildings.Key responsibilities include:
- Design HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations to determine system capacity.
- Prepare engineering drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools.
- Select equipment such as chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), pumps, ducts, and ventilation systems.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and energy efficiency regulations.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and plumbing engineers during project planning and execution.
- Supervise installation and commissioning to ensure systems are installed according to design specifications.
- Inspect and test HVAC systems to verify performance and identify any issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during installation or operation.
- Plan preventive maintenance and recommend repairs or system upgrades.
- Prepare project documentation, including reports, calculations, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and operation and maintenance manuals.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, and quality to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Promote energy-efficient and sustainable solutions to reduce operating costs and environmental impact.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
