JOB DESCRIPTION – PEON / OFFICE ASSISTANT
Position: Peon / Office Assistant
Department: Administration
Reports To: Admin Executive / HR Manager
Job Summary:
The Peon / Office Assistant is responsible for providing general office support, maintaining cleanliness, handling documents, and assisting with day-to-day administrative activities to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and collect documents, files, and parcels within and outside the office as required.
- Assist in photocopying, scanning, filing, and other office-related tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of office premises.
- Serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to staff and visitors when required.
- Support administrative and housekeeping activities.
- Handle office supplies and ensure availability of required materials.
- Assist in arranging meeting rooms and office events.
- Perform bank, courier, and other official errands as assigned.
- Support employees and management with routine office tasks.
- Follow company policies and maintain discipline at the workplace.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10th Pass (12th Pass preferred).
- Basic reading and writing skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills Required:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible and punctual.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of office procedures.
- Honest, trustworthy, and hardworking.
Working Conditions:
- Work from office.
- May be required to travel locally for official tasks when necessary.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
