Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Pediatrician to provide comprehensive medical care to neonates, infants, children. The Associate Pediatrician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating pediatric illnesses, managing inpatient and outpatient cases, attending emergencies, assisting in NICU/PICU care, and ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
- Examine, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients in OPD, IPD, Emergency, NICU, and PICU settings as assigned.
- Assess patient history, symptoms, and clinical findings to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Provide evidence-based medical care in accordance with established clinical protocols.
Inpatient & Emergency Management
- Manage pediatric inpatients and conduct daily ward rounds.
- Attend pediatric and neonatal emergencies promptly.
- Stabilize critically ill patients and coordinate referrals when necessary.
- Ensure timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Neonatal & Critical Care Support
- Assist in the management of NICU and PICU patients.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation when required.
- Monitor and manage premature and critically ill newborns under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Coordinate care with nursing staff and other specialists.
Outpatient Services
- Conduct OPD consultations and follow-up visits.
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and developmental concerns.
- Counsel parents regarding treatment plans, nutrition, growth, immunization, and preventive healthcare.
- Promote child health awareness and preventive care practices.
Immunization & Preventive Care
- Ensure timely administration and monitoring of immunization schedules.
- Educate parents regarding vaccination benefits and preventive healthcare measures.
- Monitor growth and developmental milestones of children.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Prepare discharge summaries, prescriptions, referral notes, and medical certificates.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and statutory regulations.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality initiatives, and accreditation requirements.
Coordination & Teamwork
- Collaborate with consultants, nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, and other departments.
- Participate in case discussions, departmental meetings, and clinical reviews.
- Guide junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff when required.
- Maintain effective communication with patients' families and caregivers.
Professional Development
- Stay updated with advances in pediatric medicine and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in continuing medical education (CME), workshops, and training programs.
- Contribute to academic activities, presentations, and research initiatives when applicable.
Required Qualifications:
- MBBS with MD/DNB (Pediatrics) or DCH from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the relevant State Medical Council or the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred.
Experience:
- Fresh MD/DNB/DCH graduates may apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in Pediatrics, NICU, PICU, or Child Care Hospital preferred.

Working Conditions:
- Rotational shifts, on-call duties, weekends, and public holidays as per hospital requirements.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
