Key responsibilities include managing steam, pressure, and temperature settings to achieve proper pellet durability and size, while maintaining sanitation and safety standards
- Machine Operation: Operates, cleans, and monitors pellet mills, conveyors, and related machinery.
- Process Control: Adjusts steam, moisture (approx. 12-16%), and temperature ( to ) to meet product specifications.
- Quality Control: Monitors pellet durability, size, and texture; performs quality checks.
- Maintenance: Performs routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs of dies and rollers.
- Documentation: Records production data, including temperature, pressure, and rates
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Often requires 1–5+ years of experience in feed mill operations.
- Skills: Technical knowledge of pellet mill machinery, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: ₹14,000 - ₹25,000 per month, with experienced operators earning more.
