Experience: 1–5 Years (or Fresher for Junior Engineer positions)
Location: Project Sites (Tamil Nadu / South India)
Industry: MEP Contracting, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Fighting Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and supervise electrical installation works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor installation of HT/LT panels, transformers, cable trays, conduits, wiring, lighting, and power systems.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other MEP disciplines.
- Review electrical shop drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Monitor material requirements and coordinate procurement.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Resolve site-related technical issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in MEP construction projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical standards.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Plumbing Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure work execution according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate plumbing activities with electrical, fire fighting, civil, and architectural teams.
- Review plumbing shop drawings and material submittals.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of works.
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks.
- Prepare material requisitions and monitor inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of plumbing systems.
- Prepare project progress reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil Engineering.
- Experience in plumbing and water supply systems.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Fire Fighting Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise installation of fire fighting and fire protection systems.
- Monitor installation of hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hose reels, and fire suppression systems.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, local fire authority regulations, and project specifications.
- Review shop drawings and coordinate with consultants and site teams.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
- Prepare material requirements and monitor project resources.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical support.
- Maintain project documentation and progress reports.
- Ensure safe working practices on-site.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in Fire Fighting/Fire Protection projects.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Common Responsibilities for All MEP Site Engineers
- Ensure project execution within schedule, quality, and budget requirements.
- Maintain site safety and compliance with company HSE policies.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare daily progress reports and site documentation.
- Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues.
- Support project testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
