About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Conventional Milling Operator to independently operate milling machines and manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate conventional/manual milling machines.
- Perform milling, slotting, drilling, keyway, and related machining operations.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Perform job setting, tool setting, and workpiece alignment.
- Inspect components using vernier, micrometre, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and required surface finish.
- Identify and resolve basic machining and tooling issues.
- Follow safety, SOP, and 5S requirements.
Required Skills
- 8–12 years of hands-on conventional milling experience.
- Strong knowledge of machining, cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Good knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to independently handle machine setup and machining jobs.
- Experience in precision manufacturing/tool room environments preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
