Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist Intern to join our growing team. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop clinical expertise in pediatric speech and language therapy while directly supporting children with communication and developmental challenges.
- Assist senior speech-language pathologists in conducting speech, language, and communication assessments for children.
- Observe and participate in therapy sessions, taking structured notes with appropriate client and guardian consent.
- Help design and implement individualized therapy plans and activities tailored to each child's needs.
- Prepare session reports, progress notes, and clinical documentation accurately and on time.
- Support the development of therapy materials, visual aids, and home practice resources for families.
- Engage in parent counselling sessions to guide caregivers on reinforcing therapy goals at home.
Who Can Apply
- Master's degree or advanced diploma in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or Communication Sciences (final-year students are welcome to apply).
- Basic knowledge of speech and language disorders.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and intervention approaches for conditions such as autism, stuttering, language delays, and articulation disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a child-friendly, family-centred approach.
- High levels of patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children and their families.
- Prior clinical placement, volunteering, or fieldwork experience in speech therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: From ₹4,000.00 per month
