We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester (Fresher) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in software testing, a keen eye for identifying issues, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand product requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Re-test fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members.
- Participate in test planning and contribute to improving QA processes.
- Perform basic exploratory and usability testing.
- Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, bug life cycle, severity, and priority.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Postman, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
