Job Summary
The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting management with timely financial reports. The role requires strong control over books of accounts, taxation, audits, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Finalization
· Maintain books of accounts as per Companies Act and applicable accounting standards
· Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts
· Preparation of Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
· Ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
· GST compliance:
o GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation
o GST refunds, notices, and assessments
· TDS compliance:
o TDS deductions, returns (24Q, 26Q), and Form 16/16A
· Income Tax support:
o Data preparation for ITR and tax audit
o Handling departmental notices
· ROC compliance coordination with consultants
3. Audit & Liaison
· Coordination with statutory auditors, tax auditors, internal auditors
· Providing audit schedules, explanations, and documentation
· Closure of audit queries on time
4. Banking & Cash Flow
· Bank reconciliations (all accounts)
· Monitoring fund flow and cash flow IDPMS, EDPMS
· Coordination with banks for PCFC limits, documentation, and renewals
· Tracking loans, interest, and repayment schedules.
5. MIS & Reporting
· Monthly MIS preparation and analysis
· Variance analysis vs budget / previous period
· Support management in decision-making through financial insights
6. Team & Process Management
· Supervision of accounts executives
· Process improvements and internal controls
· Ensuring compliance with company SOPs
Key Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, and Income Tax
· Experience with ERP/Tally/Busy/Oracle/SAP (as applicable)
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset
· Good coordination and communication skills
Qualification & Experience
· Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / CMA (Inter)
· Experience: 3–7 years in Accounts & Finance
· Industry experience in manufacturing / trading / jewellery is an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
