Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic, hands-on, and guest-focused Floor Manager who can lead daily restaurant operations, inspire teams, and consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being on the floor, leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day floor operations and ensure smooth service throughout every shift.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Supervise, motivate, and develop service staff.
- Conduct daily team briefings and maintain high service standards.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and company policies.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, bakery, bar, housekeeping, and support departments.
- Monitor service quality, speed, and staff productivity.
- Handle shift planning, staff deployment, and manpower allocation.
- Ensure restaurant cleanliness, presentation, and ambience at all times.
- Monitor inventory usage and minimize operational wastage.
- Assist in achieving sales targets while maintaining labour and operational efficiency.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of team members.
- Prepare daily operational reports and communicate business updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Passion for customer service and hospitality.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Basic computer knowledge and experience with POS systems.
Preferred Experience
Experience in:
- Premium cafés
- Casual dining restaurants
- Boutique hospitality
- Resorts or hotels
- Multi-outlet restaurant operations
