Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead quality initiatives across our products and releases. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless user experience by identifying bugs, validating new features, improving testing processes, and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end QA processes for Canary Mail across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.
- Eliminate in-app bugs & UX issues
- Thoroughly test new releases and feature launches before deployment.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs through resolution.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure product stability.
- Perform functional, usability, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
- Monitor production releases and validate feature performance post-launch.
- Improve app K-factor by turning customers into champions
- Encourage sharing of positive feedback on social media
- Encourage sharing of positive app store ratings & reviews
- Increase customer activation, retention & conversion to revenue through better service
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Product Testing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) and/or desktop applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Linear or similar.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
