Job Title: Site Engineer
Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating with clients, contractors, and suppliers, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize construction materials, equipment, and manpower while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient worksite in compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare project cost estimates, monitor budgets, procure materials and tools, and ensure adequate inventory to prevent project delays.
- Provide technical guidance on construction methods, materials, and engineering practices while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Diagnose equipment issues, coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing, quality materials, and timely delivery while maintaining strong business relationships.
- Review, verify, and approve technical drawings, engineering plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Develop work schedules, allocate resources, monitor project progress, and communicate schedule changes to project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Collect project data, prepare progress reports, analyze budgets and performance metrics, and present findings to management and stakeholders.
- Delegate responsibilities to site personnel, conduct coordination meetings, organize training sessions, and provide technical support to ensure efficient project execution.
- Implement quality assurance procedures, conduct site inspections, identify non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are completed to maintain project quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, environmental guidelines, and health and safety requirements throughout project execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant site engineering or construction management experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, project planning, quality control, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
