Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Key Account Manager – Warehouse to manage key client relationships and warehouse operations within a cold chain environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in cold storage logistics, customer account management, inventory control, operational excellence, and team coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Account Management
- Manage and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients and address operational concerns proactively.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and service issues.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and value-added services.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure adherence to stock management procedures.
- Ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space and resources.
- Coordinate with transportation and distribution teams for seamless supply chain operations.
Cold Chain Management
- Ensure compliance with temperature-controlled storage requirements.
- Monitor cold storage systems and maintain product integrity throughout the supply chain.
- Implement and maintain cold chain SOPs, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with quality and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and analyze KPIs related to warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, service levels, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare operational reports, MIS, and performance dashboards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
Team Management
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff and operational teams.
- Ensure proper manpower planning, training, and performance management.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and food safety standards.
- Maintain warehouse audit readiness at all times.
- Implement workplace safety measures and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
Desired Candidate ProfileEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations Management will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in warehousing and logistics operations.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Cold Chain Warehouse Operations.
- Experience managing key customer accounts in 3PL, logistics, FMCG, food, pharma, or cold storage industries.
- Proven track record of handling large warehouse operations and customer-facing responsibilities.
