We are looking for a motivated and skilled Commis I Chef to join our kitchen team. As a Commis I, you will be a step up from an entry-level cook, taking on more responsibility in food preparation, cooking, and station management. You will work closely with senior chefs to prepare high-quality dishes, keep the kitchen organized, and ensure food safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Wash, chop, portion, and prepare high-quality ingredients for the daily menu.
- Cooking Support: Cook and present dishes according to the restaurant’s exact recipes and quality standards under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Station Management: Keep your assigned kitchen section clean, organized, and fully stocked with required ingredients before and during service.
- Food Safety: Strictly follow hygiene, sanitation, and food storage guidelines (like First-In, First-Out stock rotation).
- Kitchen Maintenance: Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to ensure a safe cooking environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Commis II/III or entry-level cook in a hotel, resort, or busy restaurant kitchen.
- Culinary Knowledge: Solid basic cooking techniques, good knife skills, and an understanding of kitchen safety.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
