About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused Academic Counselor with prior experience in a education company. The ideal candidate should be passionate about guiding students through education journey and capable of handling end-to-end counseling and admission support.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities, universities, courses, and career pathways.
- Understand student profiles and provide suitable country, course, and university recommendations.
- Guide students through the complete admission process including applications, documentation, SOPs, and visa procedures.
- Assist students with university shortlisting and application submissions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students and parents throughout the admission cycle.
- Coordinate with universities and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.
- Stay updated on admission requirements, visa regulations, and international education trends.
- Participate in seminars, webinars, education fairs, and student engagement activities.
- Achieve counseling and enrollment targets as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience in a study abroad consultancy or overseas education company is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of international admissions and student counseling processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Target-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of visa documentation and application processes.
- Strong presentation and student engagement skills.
