Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Job Summary
The Accounts Assistant supports the accounting team in managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with accounting operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting activities including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements under supervision.
- Maintain and update financial records, reports, and statements.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for financial documentation and data.
- Help monitor cash flow and maintain proper documentation for financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory filings (if applicable).
- Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / SAP / QuickBooks, etc.).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial data.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of GST/TDS filing.
- Exposure to ERP systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
