You will actively be involved in offering valuable guidance and support to other developers, thereby building meaningful e-commerce solutions. This will be done for a range of businesses i.e. from early-stage brands to brands serving close to a million consumers.
As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will handle projects independently and bring about a positive change in the e-commerce industry.
- Understand task requirements and provide effort estimates of assigned tasks.
- Work on client requirements end-to-end, right from writing code to reporting performance issues and knowing how best to deal with them.
- Build performance-oriented standard code that runs on all major browsers.
- Write about, present, and share what you’re learning and working on, both internally and with the wider community via our blog, guides, and social channels.
- Expert understanding of Shopify's code structure (Themes, App Development, Integrations, etc.)
- Proficiency in creating custom Shopify themes and altering pre-existing templates.
- Seasoned knowledge of product, collection, order, & customer APIs in Shopify.
- Mandatory experience in any server-side language (PHP, Node.js, Ruby, or Python).
- Cognizant of the process for app and themes submission in Shopify.
- Exhibited skills working on a minimum of 1 full App development cycle from scratch to listing an app on the Shopify App Store.
- Proficient with Shopify liquid, jQuery, CSS, & HTML. Skilled understanding of code versioning tools GIT/ SVN.
- Experience with e-commerce migrations from other platforms to Shopify.
- Knowledge of new updates like Online Store 2.0.
- Ability to handle projects independently.
