ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role)
The Head - Business Development - IC leads the strategic growth initiatives of the IC by identifying, evaluating, and securing new business opportunities aligned with organizational goals. As a key member of the leadership team, this role is responsible for driving business planning, market analysis, customer engagement, and partnership development to ensure a sustainable revenue pipeline. The Head - Business Development - IC coordinates with internal teams such as Tendering, Proposals, and Engineering to craft competitive, client-centric offerings while ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory standards. Externally, the role maintains strong relationships with clients, government bodies, consultants, and potential partners to foster trust and open avenues for collaboration. The role significantly impacts the organization by enhancing market presence, improving win ratios, and contributing to the long-term strategic positioning of the IC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES
Head - Business development - IC functions as defined as per organizational requirements. Apply expertise in Interpretation of Contracts, Macroeconomic Analysis, Market Analysis areas. Provide Leadership and mentorship to Team members while contributing to strategic Planning and organizational development. Drive Process improvements and best practice implementation across the organization.
