Job Summary:
An Electro-Mechanical Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing electro-mechanical activities for water and wastewater treatment projects such as WTP, STP, ETP, and CETP. The role ensures seamless integration between mechanical and electrical systems, smooth inter-departmental coordination, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, execution, and commissioning teams for electro-mechanical activities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project timelines and deliverables
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electro-mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, blowers, panels, and instrumentation
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Act as a liaison between site teams, contractors, vendors, and management
- Track project progress and prepare reports, MOMs (Minutes of Meetings), and status updates
- Ensure all electro-mechanical works comply with specifications, drawings, and standards
- Identify and resolve coordination and technical issues during execution
- Follow up with vendors and contractors for timely delivery and installation of equipment
- Support in project documentation, billing coordination, and BOQ tracking
Required Skills:
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good understanding of electro-mechanical systems used in WTP, STP, ETP, and CETP projects
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, piping systems, electrical panels, and basic instrumentation
- Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office (Excel, MS Project preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment plant projects
- Exposure to installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical equipment
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently for site visits / commissioning activities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
