The Social Media Manager will lead the institution's digital presence, building a strong online community for both the school (K-12) and the college. The primary focus is developing creative content that showcases campus life, drives student enrollment, promotes academic excellence, and engages alumni.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Management
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media calendar across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and YouTube.
- Produce high-quality photos, graphics (using tools like Canva), and short-form videos (Reels) highlighting campus events, sports, and arts.
- Write compelling, age-appropriate captions and copy tailored to different audiences (parents, prospective students, current students, and alumni).
Admissions & Marketing Campaigns
- Design and execute targeted paid social media campaigns (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads) during admission seasons to drive lead generation.
- Manage storytelling campaigns that highlight faculty expertise, student success stories, and campus infrastructure.
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion rates) using analytics tools to optimize future campaigns.
Community & Reputation Management
- Act as the digital voice of the institution by responding to comments, direct messages, and reviews in a timely, professional manner.
- Monitor online conversations and sentiment to proactively protect the school's and college's reputation.
- Foster school spirit by maintaining an active, positive, and vibrant online community.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience managing social media and digital marketing campaigns, preferably within the education sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), graphic design, and basic video editing software.
- Soft Skills: Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and cross-departmental communication skills to collaborate with principals, deans, teachers, and student bodies
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
