We are looking for a skilled and responsible Network & Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure, including computer systems, servers, networks, hardware, software, and security. The candidate will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations and provide technical support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, servers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure.
- Monitor network and system performance and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
- Configure and maintain Windows/Linux servers and related services.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, email accounts, and system security.
- Perform hardware and software installation, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and other hardware-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain network security, antivirus, firewall, and access-control systems.
- Perform regular data backups and assist with disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain IT asset records, system documentation, network diagrams, and configuration details.
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment, internet connectivity, AMC, and technical support.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT-related incidents and maintain proper service records.
- Implement software updates, security patches, and system upgrades.
- Support CCTV, biometric attendance systems, printers, access-control systems, and other IT-enabled infrastructure, where required.
- Assist in IT infrastructure planning, procurement, installation, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
- Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in system administration, networking, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Experience with Windows operating systems and server administration.
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, antivirus, and backup systems.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to technical issues.
