Job Summary
The SAP Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in the SAP system. The role involves processing transactions, generating reports, verifying records, and ensuring data accuracy to support business operations. The candidate should have good knowledge of SAP modules and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update data accurately in SAP ERP systems.
- Create and maintain master data for customers, vendors, materials, and employees as required.
- Process purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, goods receipts, and other SAP transactions.
- Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in coordination with concerned departments.
- Generate routine SAP reports and MIS reports for management review.
- Maintain records and documentation related to SAP transactions.
- Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Stores, Production, Purchase, and Sales departments for data updates.
- Assist in SAP audits and data validation activities.
- Support SAP users with basic system-related queries and documentation.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of SAP ERP (MM, SD, PP, FICO, or relevant modules).
- Good data entry speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain data confidentiality.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Applications, or equivalent.
- SAP certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in SAP data entry, ERP operations, or back-office support.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or industrial sectors preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Data accuracy and error-free transaction processing.
- Timely completion of SAP entries and updates.
- Report generation within defined timelines.
- Compliance with data management procedures.
- Effective coordination with internal departments.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
