We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in US Accounting and US GAAP to lead financial operations for our healthcare business. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, revenue cycle accounting, internal controls, budgeting, and compliance while partnering with cross-functional teams to support business growth. Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.

Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.

Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management and stakeholders.

Analyze financial performance and recommend process improvements.
Revenue Cycle & Accounts Receivable

Partner with billing and revenue cycle teams to monitor Accounts Receivable (AR).

Analyze Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), aging reports, and collection performance.

Ensure accurate accounting for third-party payer settlements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.

Identify revenue leakage and recommend corrective actions.
Internal Controls & Compliance

Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal financial controls.

Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies.

Coordinate and support external audits, financial reviews, and compliance requirements.

Assist in audit preparation and resolution of audit findings.
Budgeting & Cost Management

Support annual operating and capital budgeting processes.

Monitor departmental expenses and perform variance analysis.

Analyze labor, medical supplies, and operational costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Supervise and mentor accounting team members.

Collaborate with finance, operations, billing, and executive leadership.

Drive continuous process improvements and accounting best practices.

Support the CFO in strategic financial planning and operational initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–12 years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to US Accounting.

Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting.

Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.

Strong General Ledger (GL), journal entry, reconciliation, and financial statement preparation experience.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience working with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or similar financial applications.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Healthcare accounting experience is preferred.

Experience with healthcare reimbursement models and revenue cycle accounting.

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance accounting, and healthcare compliance regulations.

Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent are an added advantage.
