Job Title: Junior Farm Executive – Irrigation
Location: Ramtek, Nagpur. (Vidarbha Region)

Job Summary:
The Junior Farm Executive – Irrigation will be responsible for supporting irrigation planning, execution, and maintenance to ensure optimal water usage and healthy crop growth. The role involves monitoring irrigation systems, assisting in scheduling, and ensuring efficient water management practices on the farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing daily irrigation schedules based on crop requirements and weather conditions
- Monitor irrigation systems such as drip, sprinkler, and flood irrigation for proper functioning
- Ensure timely watering of crops to maintain soil moisture levels
- Inspect pipelines, valves, pumps, and other irrigation equipment regularly
- Identify and report leaks, damages, or inefficiencies in the irrigation system
- Maintain records of water usage, irrigation schedules, and system performance
- Support installation and maintenance of irrigation infrastructure
- Coordinate with farm workers to ensure proper irrigation practices are followed
- Follow sustainable water management practices and minimize wastage
- Assist in soil moisture testing and basic agronomic activities
Nursery & Plant Propagation Responsibilities
- Perform grafting, budding, air layering, and other plant propagation techniques for fruit, ornamental, and landscape plants
- Prepare and maintain mother plants for propagation activities
- Monitor success rates of grafting and air layering operations and ensure proper aftercare
- Assist in seed germination, cutting propagation, transplanting, and nursery plant production
- Identify suitable plant species for propagation based on seasonal requirements
- Maintain propagation tools, equipment, and nursery infrastructure in good condition
- Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and inventory management of propagated plants
- Monitor plant health and implement preventive measures against pests and diseases
- Support development and maintenance of nursery stock, landscaping plants, shrubs, trees, and flowering plants
- Assist in planning and execution of plantation, garden development, and beautification projects
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Agriculture, Irrigation Management, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in farm operations or irrigation
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, etc.)
- Understanding of crop water requirements and soil types
- Ability to work in outdoor farm conditions
- Good observation and problem-solving skills
- Basic record-keeping and reporting ability

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
