About the Role
Edexe Learning is looking for a knowledgeable and engaging CAT Quant Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our academic team. The role involves teaching and mentoring CAT aspirants in Quantitative Aptitude and helping students build strong conceptual understanding, calculation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct engaging and concept-focused Quantitative Aptitude classes for CAT aspirants.
* Explain Quant concepts and problem-solving approaches in a clear and structured manner.
* Prepare lesson plans, practice questions, and class materials.
* Teach and guide students across different areas of CAT Quant.
* Help students develop strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Use CAT-level questions and previous exam-style problems during sessions.
* Teach effective approaches, shortcuts, and time-management techniques wherever applicable.
* Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and provide academic support to students.
* Analyse student performance and provide constructive feedback.
* Keep track of changes in CAT patterns, question types, and difficulty levels.
* Coordinate with the academic team regarding class schedules, content, and student progress.
Requirements
* Strong command of CAT-level Quantitative Aptitude.
* Good mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts using simple and effective methods.
* Good understanding of CAT exam patterns and Quant question types.
* Ability to engage students and encourage participation during classes.
* Previous experience in CAT coaching, mentoring, or teaching is preferred.
