Experience: 3–7 Years
We are looking for an Applied Data Scientist who can leverage machine learning and data analytics to solve real business problems across sales, marketing, and operations.
In this role, you will analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and develop intelligent systems that support better decision-making. You will work closely with business teams to translate data into actionable insights and scalable machine learning solutions.
Develop and deploy predictive machine learning models for business applications
Build models for:
Demand forecasting
Pricing optimization
Marketing ROI prediction
Inventory planning
Analyze large datasets to generate actionable business insights
Design and build recommendation systems for students and educational content
Develop data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools
Perform feature engineering and model optimization
Work closely with business teams to understand challenges and solve them using data science and machine learning
Monitor and improve model performance over time
Strong programming skills in Python
Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis
Experience with Machine Learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, or similar
Strong skills in data analysis and data visualization
Experience with feature engineering and model tuning
Good understanding of statistical modelling and predictive analytics
Experience building recommendation systems
Knowledge of time-series forecasting models
Experience with marketing analytics and customer insights
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
Exposure to big data technologies or cloud platforms
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Candidates with advanced degrees in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Statistics will be preferred
Relevant certifications in Data Science or Machine Learning will be an added advantage
