Job Description – Warehouse & Inventory Executive (Telecom Operations)
Role Objective
To manage warehouse operations, inventory control, material movement, and documentation, ensuring timely availability and accurate tracking of telecom materials for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records of telecom materials and equipment.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Warehouse Operations
Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials as per approved procedures.
Ensure proper storage, labelling, and handling of inventory.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
3. Material Tracking & Coordination
Track inward and outward movement of materials.
Coordinate with procurement, project, and field teams for material dispatch and receipt.
Ensure timely availability of materials for project requirements.
4. Documentation & MIS
Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Slips (MIS), delivery challans, stock registers, and other inventory records.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
Update inventory data in Excel and ERP/web-based inventory systems.
5. Compliance & Asset Control
Ensure proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
Maintain asset accountability and minimize material loss or damage.
Follow company inventory policies and audit requirements.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, IF, Filters) and MS Office.
Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software is preferred.
Strong documentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under deadlines with attention to detail.
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline.
Experience: 1- 4 years in Warehouse & Inventory Management (Telecom industry preferred).
