Who we are:
We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design structures through development of analytical formulations- Analyze and update structural design using commercial tools
- Create, implement, and realize development plans for meeting airframe design objectives
- Develop, and revise standardized processes/practices for all airframe design activities
Must have skills:
Strength of materials, Aircraft Structures, Composites- Optimization of multi-disciplinary systems, and structural members using comp. methods
- Design process of composite & metal structures - Part concepts, quality metrics, drafting (GD&T), manufacturing, structural testing, and design feedback
- Planning design activities, and proof of concepts towards meeting functionalities of parts, & mechanisms through multi-staged processes
- Engineering change management (PDM), FMEA, and DFM
- Reviewing design documents, and delegating work in small teams in addition to individual contributions
- Interfacing with evolving product requirements, and realizing airframe design revisions
- Experience in aero-modelling / hardware projects in other mechanical systems is required
- Experience in working on end to end structural design of part(s) from understanding of high level systems requirements
- MATLAB (Advanced), Fortran / Python / C++
- CAE Software - Solidworks, Catia, ANSYS
Basic Requirement (education & relevant experience):
Bachelors or Masters in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical engineering with at- least 1 degree in Aerospace Engineering and minimum 2-3 years of experience
