We are looking for a field-oriented and target-driven Sales Officer – Animal Feeds to drive sales growth within the assigned territory. The role involves developing strong relationships with farmers, dealers, distributors, and institutional customers while promoting the company’s range of animal feed products. The candidate should have a good understanding of livestock practices and rural markets.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for animal feed products
Develop and expand dealer/distributor network in the assigned territory
Build strong relationships with farmers, poultry farms, dairy farms, and feed dealers
Conduct regular field visits, farm demonstrations, and product awareness programs
Provide basic technical guidance to customers on feed usage, nutrition, and best practices
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends in the territory
Ensure effective implementation of sales schemes, promotions, and campaigns
Coordinate with supply chain/logistics to ensure timely product availability
Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy credit control
Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities, customer visits, and market feedback
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong field sales and relationship management skills
Knowledge of livestock feed and poultry/dairy farming practices
Good communication skills (local language proficiency is essential)
Ability to influence and educate rural customers
Result-oriented with strong follow-up and negotiation skills
Basic technical understanding of animal nutrition is an added advantage
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Veterinary Science / Animal Husbandry / Any Graduate
2–5 years of experience in animal feeds / agri-input / FMCG rural sales
Freshers with relevant agricultural background and strong field interest may also be considered

Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas
Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred

Prior experience in poultry feed & cattle feed sales
Strong connect with local farmer community and dealer network
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
