Job Summary
The Junior IP Billing Executive is responsible for supporting the inpatient (IP) billing process by preparing accurate patient bills, verifying service charges, coordinating with clinical and insurance teams, and ensuring timely billing in accordance with hospital policies. The role contributes to accurate revenue collection while providing quality service to patients and their attendants.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process inpatient (IP) bills accurately based on services rendered.
- Verify patient registration details, admission records, treatment charges, investigations, pharmacy bills, implants, consumables, and professional fees.
- Coordinate with nursing stations, consultants, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and other departments to ensure all applicable charges are captured.
- Process interim and final bills for patient discharge within defined turnaround times.
- Assist with insurance, corporate, TPA, and cash patient billing as per hospital guidelines.
- Verify approvals, package details, and billing eligibility for insured patients.
- Resolve billing discrepancies by coordinating with relevant departments.
- Generate patient billing statements, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate billing records and ensure proper documentation for audits.
- Assist in handling patient and attendant billing queries professionally and courteously.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support daily billing reconciliation and end-of-day reporting.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
