Summary:
As an Engineering Services Practitioner, a typical day involves providing comprehensive engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. This includes collaborating with various teams to develop and implement technical solutions that address complex engineering challenges. The role requires balancing scientific principles with practical experience to ensure that business goals are met effectively. Daily activities encompass working on structural and stress design, overseeing qualification processes, managing configuration, and ensuring technical standards are maintained. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders to align engineering efforts with organizational objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of engineering activities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Monitor and evaluate engineering processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Aircraft Design.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and stress evaluation techniques relevant to aircraft systems.
- Experience in configuration management and technical documentation to support engineering projects.
- Ability to apply scientific and socio-economic principles to develop practical engineering solutions.
- Familiarity with qualification standards and regulatory requirements in the aerospace industry.
- Skilled in collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to drive engineering excellence.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Aircraft Design.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
