About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer – ALM to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are passionate about Linux, Windows Administration, Automation, and Enterprise Software Systems.
In this role, you will work on installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud environments. You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise customers, modern ALM tools, databases, web/application servers, and automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, migrate, and upgrade ALM solutions based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
* Support administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Linux and Windows-based environments.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Bash, Batch, or Python.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, deployment guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Troubleshoot system, application, and infrastructure-related issues.
* Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments and ongoing support.
* Assist in database connectivity, application server configuration, and security-related tasks.
Required Skills
* Good understanding of Linux Administration (RHEL preferred).
* Good understanding of Windows Server Administration.
* Basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and LDAP.
* Understanding of SMTP and email server configurations.
* Basic networking concepts including DNS, Firewalls, IP Addressing, and Ports.
* Knowledge of databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
* Understanding of Web and Application Servers such as Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, or Liberty.
* Basic knowledge of SSL Certificates and HTTPS.
* Scripting knowledge in Shell, Bash, Batch, or Python.
* Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
* Familiarity with Git or other Version Control Systems.
* Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
* Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Eligibility
* BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
* Completion of a formal Operating System Administration course from a recognized institute.
* Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
