Position: Gardener
Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants.
- Water plants, lawns, and gardens regularly.
- Prune trees, hedges, and bushes.
- Mow lawns and maintain landscaped areas.
- Remove weeds and keep gardens clean.
- Apply fertilizers and pest-control treatments safely.
- Maintain irrigation systems and gardening tools.
- Replace damaged or dead plants.
- Keep hotel entrances, pathways, and outdoor areas attractive.
- Follow safety and hygiene standards while working.
- Assist in decorating hotel areas with plants and flowers for events when required.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of plant care and gardening techniques.
- Ability to operate gardening equipment.
- Physical fitness and stamina.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork and time management.
Qualification:
- High school education is often sufficient.
- Experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of fertilizers, irrigation, and pest control is an advantage.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
