Marine Fitter – Job Description
- Perform dismantling, repair, overhaul, and installation of marine machinery, pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment onboard vessels and in the workshop.
- Carry out alignment, fitting, assembly, and testing of mechanical components as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and support troubleshooting during ship repair projects.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and shipyard standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to meet project schedules and delivery targets.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work records related to repair activities.
Piping Fitter – Job Description
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair piping systems onboard vessels and in shipyard projects as per drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and layout plans.
- Perform pipe cutting, threading, bending, fit-up, alignment, and flange installation.
- Coordinate with welders, engineers, and supervisors to ensure proper installation and testing of piping systems.
- Carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic test preparations and rectify piping defects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and shipyard standards while meeting project schedules.
- Maintain tools, materials, and work records related to piping activities.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
