Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Rack Server Engineer, Senior Engineer and Technical Manager with practical experience in server and workstation assembly, hardware troubleshooting, and on-site issue resolution. The candidate must be technically strong and capable of independently handling installation, configuration, and fault rectification. This role is strictly for field/technical operations and not for chat or call-based support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and configure rack servers and high-end workstations.
- Installation of rack-mounted servers (1U/2U/4U) in data center/server room environments.
- Configure BIOS, RAID (hardware RAID controllers), and storage (HDD/SSD/NVMe).
- Install and configure operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to:
- Motherboard, CPU, RAM
- RAID cards, NIC cards, GPU
- Power supply units
- Storage drives
- Perform burn-in testing, stress testing, and quality checks before dispatch.
- Troubleshoot on-site issues and ensure minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with OEM/vendors for RMA and part replacement.
- Maintain documentation of installations and service reports.
- Ensure proper cable management and rack layout standards.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of enterprise hardware platforms (Dell / HP / Lenovo or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with rack servers and tower workstations.
- Understanding of RAID levels (0,1,5,6,10).
- Knowledge of virtualization basics (VMware / Hyper-V preferred).
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, VLAN, basic switching).
- Ability to independently diagnose and rectify hardware faults.
- Experience in handling VMS, storage servers, or CCTV server environments will be an added advantage.
- Comfortable working in data center or railway/government project environments (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in IT / Computer Science / Electronics.
- OEM certifications (optional but preferred).
- Prior experience in system integrator or OEM environment.

- Candidate must be physically present for assembly, installation, and issue resolution.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
